The mission of D5DOG is to work cooperatively with local park groups, public officials, business owners and individuals to promote responsible dog guardianship, dog welfare, continued park and open space access through outreach, education and service aimed at creating a positive and safe environment for parks and neighborhoods within District 5. who we are: D5DOG is the San Francisco District 5 Dog Owners & Guardians group. We are a neighborhood organization of dog guardians and dog lovers who care deeply about the health and welfare of our canine companions as well as the safety and vitality of our local parks, neighborhoods and community. what we do: D5DOG members organize projects to attain these goals, and address current issues involving dogs, dog guardians and/or park and open space usage in San Francisco, specifically those issues that would effect residents of District 5.  D5DOG members organize regular monthly clean-ups in parks within District 5. We also host seminars on canine health & welfare, CGC/Park Manners training classes and other fun and informative events that promote responsible dog guardianship.
